What is the System Used For?

To check if a name (of an individual, entity or organization) matches fully or partly any names appearing on the UN Consolidated List or UAE Local Terrorist List. Each list can be downloaded from the relevant website and a scan can be run manually to check if a particular name matches (fully or partly) with the names listed in either of those lists. However doing so manually can be a time consuming experience particularly if you do so daily and there are a large number of names to check. That’s were Alpha Omega Sanctions Screening Tool (“AOSST”) can help automate the process. As a user, you can subscribe to the AOSST and choose a package that meets your needs. Once subscribed to the package, the system allows you to screen the number of names available in your package on a daily basis for the number of days as per the package selected. If the system detects any partial or full matches, it will generate an alert and you as the user can review and decide if the alert is genuine or not and take the appropriate actions.
